Install the PageSmack app on iOS and Android for instant job access, push notifications, and field dispatching.

About the Mobile Application

Our mobile app installs directly onto your phone or tablet without taking up significant device storage. It provides faster load times, fullscreen operation, push notifications, and real-time field communications that are not available through standard mobile browsers.



Installation Steps

Step 1 Visit the website on your mobile device

Open your mobile browser and navigate to https://www.pagesmack.com.

Important: Make sure you include the www. prefix in the address. Accessing the non-www address may prevent the app install prompt from triggering.
Step 2 Add the app to your Home Screen

Follow the specific instructions for your mobile operating system:

Chrome on Android
  1. Tap the three vertical dots (⋮) at the top right corner.
  2. Select Add to Home screen (or Install App).
  3. Tap Install to confirm.
Safari on iPhone & iPad
  1. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow at the bottom).
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add in the top right corner.
Step 3 Open the app and configure permissions

Find the app icon on your home screen and open it to log into your PageSmack account. Upon first launch, accept the following two prompts:

Location Access: Tap "Allow" if your employer has enabled location tracking for dispatching and check-ins.
Push Notifications: Tap "Allow" so you receive real-time job dispatch alerts and direct team chat messages.

Location Tracking & Privacy

How your location data is handled:

If your company requires location tracking, your privacy is safeguarded by strict operating rules:

Active Usage Only: Your live position is only recorded when actively interacting with the app or checking into job tasks.
No Background Reporting: When the app is minimized or closed, location data is never sent.
No Standby Tracking: When your device is locked or in standby, tracking is completely suspended.
How to disable location permissions:

You can toggle or revoke location permissions at any time via your device operating system:

Android Settings:
  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Select Chrome (or the installed app).
  4. Tap Permissions.
  5. Toggle off Location.
Apple iOS Settings:
  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Tap Location.
  4. Select Never.
